NowPayments is a crypto payment gateway that enables fast and direct crypto payments in a wide range of cryptocurrencies. Elongate has utilized NowPayment services through integration on https://elongate.cc/donate/ and Coin Social Story, a cryptocurrency donation platform that spotlights various charities through crypto donations.
Currently, the primary source of funding for charitable contributions from Elognate comes through a portion of their transaction fee, with over $2.7 million donated as of June 8th, 2021. However, they also encourage their large audience and community to donate directly. This new integration will provide another avenue for Elongate to fund social impact initiatives and charity by widening their range of accepted cryptocurrencies from direct donations.
