Lebanon is experiencing a prolonged economic and refugee crisis while struggling with the pandemic. The country has over 800,000 Syrian Refugees, of which 90% live in poverty. A significant amount of these refugees are children.
With the start of the 2021 school year in Lebanon, many children lacked basic school supplies. These children are orphans or conflict refugees that cannot afford the necessary tools for learning. The ELONGATE Social Impact team supported over 60 children by ensuring they had the necessities to participate in their education.

In addition to the school supplies, their team provided over 100 food packages. Each food package can last up to two weeks for a family of four— these packages fed people who would otherwise lack sufficient food and nutrition. The majority of these people have little to no income, many of whom are refugees, unemployed, disabled, or elderly.
Elongate continues to support people displaced by conflicts and disasters around the globe. Wherever support is needed, their team is ready and open to providing aid and assistance.
