The ELONGATE team has announced a $50,000 donation to The Barstool Fund. Bringing the power of Crypto to Charity, the team at Elongate identified a significant need to provide relief to the many businesses across the United States that the global pandemic has severely affected.
Employees have suffered from sickness, job loss, and reduced hours, leaving them unable to pay bills or provide for their families. Owners have also had to navigate closures, shutdowns, and loss of revenue due to the pandemic response. The Barstool Fund brings relief to many small businesses and their employees across the United States.
Dave Portnoy launched the fundraising effort called “The Barstool Fund” during the Pandemic in December of last year alongside a nonprofit organization called the 30-Day Fund. This charitable fund contributes to those impacted by the pandemic and has since raised more than $41 million for 443 local businesses.
